OUR BEERS

Jebena

Jebena is our coffee milkshake IPA, was brewed English malted barley, a healthy amount of flaked oats, and a significant addition of lactose for a smooth, sweet, light colored base.

We then lightly kettle hopped and hugely dry hopped the beer with 100% Southern Passion hops from South Africa for a big aroma of tropical fruits, berries, and citrus.

A Toast To Miles

A Toast to Miles is a farmhouse IPA and was brewed the same day as the birth our head brewer’s first child.

Modeled after a tropical white sangria, this beer was brewed with a simple grain bill of barley and wheat, hopped exclusively with nelson sauvin, including a double dry hop, and flavored with sweet orange peel and sauvignon blanc grape juice.

Nomi

Nomi Yasui is our unfiltered Japanese Rice Lager made with jasmine rice.

We started with a simple grain bill of floor malted barley and flaked rice and added a hearty addition of jasmine rice. A minimal amount of clean bittering hops were used to provide balance to the delicate malt character.

Shake it Don’t Break It

Shake it Don’t Break it is a milk shake double IPA. Barley, wheat, and oats come together with lactose to provide a smooth, creamy body.

Azacca, Idaho 7, and Lotus hops were added to the whirlpool and used in an extensive dry hop schedule to pull out flavors of tropical fruit and citrus, which is boosted by our use of kveik yeast.

Saison D'espoir

Saison D'espoir, 'Season of Hope' in French, is our brand new Belgian style saison. For this beer we use 100% European grain, including floor malted barley, pale malted wheat, and malted rye.

These grains give the beer a light color and body while providing a complex flavor profile of freshly baked bread, piles of hay, and lightly toasted crackers.

La Foghorn

La foghorn is a Belgian style dubbel ale that pours between mahogany and ruby in color with a large off-white head. The aroma is classically Belgian with notes of dark fruit, clove, bubble gum, and banana, finishing with a touch of herbal hops.

The flavor is all about balance, with sweet raisins and cloves up front, followed by banana and bubblegum, and finishing with a dry herbal hop character.

Leckermaul

Leckermaul is a German term for a sweet-toothed person, and also the name of the witch in the famed opera, Hansel and Gretel.

Treated with 115 lbs. of tart and black cherry puree, 10 lbs. of Ghana Cocoa Nibs, and 16 lbs. of coconut.

Los Nevados

Cinnamon Strudel Barleywine is a double mashed barleywine that is built with layer upon layer of barley, wheat, oats, and specialty malts. Enough hops were used to keep the sweetness from overpowering the palate.

Real vanilla and cinnamon mix with fruity esters from fermentation to create a delicious strudel-like character.

London Cabbie

London Cabbie is a traditional British style oatmeal stout. We started with the finest English barley, added a ton of oats for body, and used a handful of our favorite roasted malts for color and depth of flavor.

Bonnie Heather

For Bonnie Heather we started with a base of Scottish barley that was floor malted in the old, traditional style.

We then added several darker malts to give the beer its deep amber/light brown color as well as flavors of caramel and toffee with slight hints of dark chocolate.

Temmy

Temný, meaning dark in Czech, is our take on a Czech dark lager. The Czech Republic has long been known for their incredible pilsners, but their dark lagers are equally delicious, if less well known.

Our take on this classic style starts with a blend of floor malted barley malts grown in the Czech Republic for maximum authenticity. A touch of roasted malts are added to give the beer its deep brown color, as well as its dark, roasted chocolate flavor and aroma.

Feathered Serpent

Feathered Serpent is a high gravity smoked gose style ale with blackberry, key lime, agave syrup, and pink Himalayan salt added. Pilsner malt, wheat, and oak smoked wheat provide the base beer, while a kettle souring process with lactobacillus give the beer a distinct tartness. Dark Agave syrup combines with the oak smoked wheat to remind the drinker of a mezcal mixed drink. Blackberry is puree was added mid fermentation to give the beer an earthy, berry flavor and eye-catching color, while a touch of key lime was added to bring the whole thing together. The result is a tart, refreshing beer that hides its high ABV well. Expect a bright beer with lots of blackberry flavor with a moderate salt flavor and hints of smoke, agave, and lime.

The beer is hopped lightly with Hallertau Mittelfrüh, a noble hop grown in Germany to give the beer balance and a touch of floral aroma.

Mesquite honey was added just before fermentation with one of our favorite bottom fermenting yeast strains at frigid temperatures.
